Okay, as mentioned before, I think a blog carnival should give us EVE fiction blog writers a nice restart on pulling together.
So next Friday (2009-09-16), I will post links to everyone’s best EVE fiction efforts over the previous week. Of course, I won’t presume to tell you which of your posts represents your best effort. Each author decides which of their in-character or fiction posts should get listed. Just email me at internetspaceships@yahoo.com with your link and, if you wish, a short introduction to the story that tells the readers a wee bit about what to expect, what inspired your story, or anything else that might whet their appetites. I need to receive any submissions by 2359 EVE time on 2009-09-15 (i.e. Thursday night). Then I’ll email everyone so that they can link to the post from their own blogs.
A sample submission might look something like this:
Casiella Truza presents Brotherhood of the Khumaak: “The Minmatar fight for their freedom, but the pain of their long struggle has twisted some of them into dark deeds…”
Also, please let me know if you would like to host a future edition. I have some theming ideas to give this an EVE feel, but the whole thing will work much better if we move it around. Editors take the responsibility for one week to collate all the links and post the collection, after which we can all link to them. That doesn’t really involve too much work.
Any other ideas, suggestions, or questions? Comment below!
