Projectile Singularity

Once in a while, the EVE blogosphere extrudes a tendril of such awesomeness that its sheer concentrated “win factor” (apologies for the technical term there) overpowers any observers, reaching in through their aural (or, more likely, optic) orifices to rearrange the relevant neurons into a configuration that not only aligns more closely with reality but actually folds information back upon itself, displaying the fractal nature of comprehension.

In this case, anyone who uses Minmatar ships (or encounters them in PvP) needs to go read Letrange‘s posts on Projectile Ammo and Artillery. His analysis of the Dominion rebalance for projectile weapons and ammunition does not limit itself to those fields, but proceeds forth and encompasses the impact on small-squad tactics and fleet fights. When, in the far future, our infomorph descendants gaze into the past from their edifices of pure data to comprehend their origins and the singularities that gave rise to their existence, they will surely place Letrange and his piercing gaze that penetrates the nature of the cosmos into their pantheon of mythological giants who shaped all future time.

I liked Letrange’s write up, it has made me seriously consider training up minmitar. But your write up of his write up just made me laugh (in a good way)

    Nice post!
