Text color poll

I’ve received some reader feedback regarding text colors for this blog and I’d like to get your opinion. Do you prefer the current setup (light text on a dark background) or the inverse? Does it hurt your eyes to read it, one way or the other? Do you only read the feed anyway?

Which sort of text coloring do you prefer?

    White backgrounds have a tendency to give me headaches after a while. My own site uses a light grey background with dark text due to readership at the time I took the poll wanting a change from the dark starfield I had before. Might change it back, but I’m in the process of redoing the site completely so still not sure.

    Neither way really hurts my eyes or anything, but I do prefer reading light text on a dark background. Sometimes have a light background (specifically if it’s white), can be a bit overwhelming at times.

    I am actually considering radically changing my site to have this kind of setup dark background with lighter text…seems as if most people like that.

    Dark background with light text is proven to be better on the eyes. I say keep it as it is.

    I don’t care what you use as long as you don’t embed the tags in your posts. That can really mess up google reader.

    It’s not embedded right now, is it? I try to keep all that stuff in the theme, largely for the reason you cite.
