Last night, the Exploration channel had a nice discussion about a tool to manage your in-game asset inventory: jEveAssets.
Essentially, you give it your full-access API key and it fetches a list of all your assets, including corp assets if you have the appropriate roles. Then it grabs price data from EVE Central (or EVE Metrics if you prefer) and determines the valuation for the whole thing.
I like the fact that the tool will also list what you have in containers and ship fittings. The value data can get a little iffy at times, and of course items that do not appear on the market (e.g. faction modules and ships that only trade via contracts) will return a zero value. You can set the values for those items manually.
Other players have reported a few bugs like T2 rigs showing values equivalent to their T1 counterparts, but in general I found it a very useful tool. And, since it comes in a Java .JAR file, the tool can run on any platform including Mac and Linux. jEveAssets will definitely stay in my toolbox for a good while.
